Crocodile tears & fake grief ||Cora & Hayley

The world seems to keep turning, fuelled by the rumour mill and New Orleans definitely is no exception. If you believe everything you hear, then you are sure to be made to look a fool everytime you step foot outside the door.
What Cora had heard though, she can believe to be true. It seems some people want to give a memorial to her brother which they seem befitting to him. Not at all what she wants, but then again, who is she to stop them. All the young wolf wants to do is pick Hades up from Hayley and disappear back to the Algiers.
The only one she truly believes to be grieving for the loss of Derek is Hayley and this is the reason Cora has chosen to give a respectful silence and let the memorial take place without any objections. The other wolves though, she really doesn’t think for one minute they give a damn or ever did.
There’s a certain gut-wrenching feeling inside of her which indicates that staying and taking part in it, will end up resulting in throwing a few home truths out there for the ones who come out in their numbers to mourn with their fake crocodile tears. Of course, this is Cora Hales line of thinking and it might not be a true representation of what they feel, but anyone would have a hard time trying to tell her otherwise.
Arriving at Hayleys place, Cora gives a short and abrupt knock before walking inside.
“I’ve come for the cat...where is she?”
