Hi darling thank you that is very sweet. I haven’t written a soft gentle date for any character before so this was a first… I also have never written for him either so I hope I did him justice (I kind of see him as being very gentle and protective and soft to his S/O so that’s how I sort of planned things and sorta inspired by the adorable little profile pics you have)

Summary: Corazon surprises you with a soft date night on the beach

You slipped your hand into your lovers, giving it a gentle squeeze. His body towered over you, sheltering you from the gust of chilled wind that blew from the sea. He wrapped his large jacket around you, noticing a slight shiver in your walk as you huddled close to him. All day he had hinted at a special surprise awaiting at the island you were soon to dock to. He stepped lightly around the topic, being careful not to ruin the surprise he had for you; knowing how much he wanted to look after his lover tonight.

He shielded your eyes with his hand as he guided you down the sand slopes, carefully directing where you needed to stand. He pulled his hand away from your eyes, ordering them to stay shut as he walked away from you. You called out his name after a while, growing impatiently curious at his quietness.

You jumped as a pair of hands grabbed your shoulders from behind, sliding down your front to wrap you into a strong hug. His breath tickled lightly at your ear, laughing at your surprised reaction.

“Are you ready, my love?”

You nodded.

“Okay follow me, but continue to keep your eyes shut”.

You followed him to the sound of crashing waves, carefully treading through the soft sand below you. He guided you to sit, gently placing you down, his jacket falling over your shoulders for comfort. The fabric engulfed your body, wrapping you into a soft cocoon of his scent; easing your restless mind.

Your attention shifted to your lovers arm which gracefully tucked you close to him as he sat; holding you against him. His fingers delicately traced your skin feeling you ease into him; his heart rapid awaiting your reaction.

“You may open” his voice was soft and sweet, ready to let you into the surprise he had kept for so long.

Your eyes opened to the scene in front of you; flower petals lined the floor at your feet, stretching around you. Weaved above the petals sat decadent platters of your most treasured foods; presented on the finest crockery he could find. You spotted through the platters Corazon’s attempt to sneak in pickled plums; not being able to resist including his own favourite food. Around your bodies sat a circle of littered pillared candles, softly lit as the sun creeped down behind the stretch of blue before you.

“I thought we could have a private meal away from everyone… just you and me, baby”. He squeezed you gently, letting your eyes linger on the sight in front of you; absorbing it all. He knew it was rare for the two of you to be alone, let alone together for a meal, without interruption.

“It’s perfect” you whisper, looking up at your lovers face. He smiled in relief, placing a kiss delicately against your forehead.

You both sat in comfortable silence, working your way through the platters; listening to the faint crash of waves as they hit the shore in front of you. Through the meal, Corazon’s body moved closer to you; ending up with you situated in his lap by the end. His body shielded you as the day turned to night, a light crisp air nipping at your bare skin as the sky grew dark.

His lips carefully danced across your neck, warming you up as you shivered into him. You let out a soft giggle as his kisses moved to your ear, his large arms pulling you closer to him. His gaze shifted to the ocean in front of you, his lips trailing up towards your hair, humming in satisfaction. “You know how much I love you, right?”

“How much?”

“As far and wide as the ocean” he nodded towards the vast stretch of water in front of you.

You beam a shy smile, enthralled by his answer; his arms squeezing you in response. In one swift move you turned around, looking up at Corazon with loving eyes; matching the same enchantment as he looked down at you. His hands went up to your cheeks, cupping your face gently as he lowered his head down to you. His eyes shut upon the impact, taking in your scent, not yet ready to return you back to the crowds of the ship.

“Can we stay like this a while?” You suggest, your voice low and timid through the dimly lit cocoon he embraced you in.

“For as long as you wish, my love” his lips moved towards yours, kissing you briefly “anything to keep you here with me like this”.

(Name) giggled, running her hands through Rosinante's blond locks as she lay beside him in bed. His face was, for once, free of the makeup he wore as part of his disguise, his bright smile no longer obscured by the overdrawn, fake one.

Amber eyes gazed at her, relaxed and serene as she tugged gently on a curl. "What are you thinking about?" He asked, his voice deep and raspy from lack of use.

"That your hair is so soft after you wash it," she answered, voice barely above a whisper despite the protective bubble of silence surrounding them. "And how much I wish we could have more moments like this."

He pulled her close, placing a kiss to the top of her head. "Someday soon, my love. I promise."

"So…you're not mute?"

"Erm...no, not really…" Rosinante answered, twiddling his thumbs under their scrutiny.

"And you're not really a pirate?"

"...No."

"But the clumsiness is real?" Rosinante's laugh echoed through the protective bubble of his devil fruit. (Name) decided they liked hearing it.

"Yes," he answered, grin wide across his made-up face. (Name) appeared to think for a moment, a slow smile erupting on their face.

"So does this mean that in this...bubble, I can kiss you anytime I want?" He blinked, then his face got impossibly brighter as he crossed the distance between them to place a kiss upon their lips.

Hello, if you even write for him could I ask for a scenario where Corazon and his s/o, who's also part of the crew, keep their relationship a secret from Doffy and co. But then one of Doffy’s men (your choice who ^^) starts hitting on/flirting with her, like in a really creepy way with stalking and so on. So they decide to make it clear that they are taken.

Hi anon! I haven’t written for Cora before this (other than a brief self-indulgent fanfic I wrote a couple months ago but I’m not sure that counts lol), but I love him, and I hope he’s in character! I feel like I made him seem too cool lmao I also went with Diamante for the crew member...he seems skeevy like that lol I hope you enjoy!

“Come now, Name...most girls would kill for the chance to be with a top executive of the Family.”

She kept her gaze fixed over Diamante’s shoulder, once again cornered by the tall man. He was right that most women would accept, even desire, his advances...but she wasn’t most women. Her heart already belonged to another; a man who was kind to a fault, though she’d never have guessed it before their trysts began. Like the rest of the Family, she’d thought the second Corazon to be a mute, traumatized by youth and taking it out on all the children who came to be a part of Doflamingo’s crew. 

Of course, she was one of the few who knew the truth, and so their relationship had so far remained a secret even from his own brother. Unfortunately, this left her open to receive petitions from other members of the crew. Most she could turn down easily, maybe even toss them around a bit if they insisted, but Diamante was different. She wasn’t a high-ranking member, and he was one of Doflamingo’s top dogs. To fight him would be a death sentence.

She told none of this to Rocinante. She worried if he had to step in that he would end up exposed, and she could handle a little harassment if it meant his safety. At least, that’s what she told herself to get through it. She hadn’t anticipated Diamante’s persistence in the matter.

Usually some distraction would show up and allow her to slip away, usually into Rocinante’s arms, but it seemed that luck was not on her side today, as they remained alone in the cramped hallway. She pressed herself as close to the wall as she could, creating as much distance as possible, trying not to show her disgust or her fear.

“You know, this ‘hard-to-get’ thing is really getting old. Why not just give in, hm?” He said with a wide grin.

“Wouldn’t you rather spend your time with someone that appears more interested? I’m afraid I’m much too busy to devote much time to anything with you, Diamante-sama…” She attempted. He was about to retort when footsteps sounded from down the hall. The two turned towards the sound, her still pressed against the wall, and she was surprised to see her lover walking towards them, questioning clear on his made-up face.

“Ahh Corazon, no need to trouble yourself here. Name and I are just having a discussion,” Diamante tried to send the blond on his way, and Corazon turned his face towards her. The fire in his eyes was only visible to her, making it clear that he knew exactly what was going on. He tried to play dumb to most things, but he could tell instantly by the way Diamante was pressed close to her, the thinly veiled disgust on her face, that she needed him, his mission be damned. 

She took the opportunity while Diamante was distracted by the other man to duck out from under his arm, grabbing Corazon’s wrist as she did so. In a split second decision, she wrapped one arm around his neck, the other going to his jaw, and pulled him in for a deep kiss, startling both men with her actions. Corazon quickly stifled the sound of surprise building in his throat and gripped her waist, pulling her into his arms and lifting her off her feet. 

Diamante scoffed behind them, muttering something about it not being worth the effort before he stalked back down the hall, leaving the two to their embrace. Rocinante stared into her eyes, his own filled with an odd mixture of relief and amusement. He leaned forward, whispering into her ear so only she could hear him.

“A little warning next time, love?” He teased, nuzzling into her neck, placing soft kisses against her skin. “Please don’t keep things like this from me.” She nodded, pulled him closer, and kissed him again.
