Zack and Jordan Inman had been gang members further north in the country, only eighteen and nineteen when Corbin was conceived, they decided that the cities and the state up north was no place for a child, and ran away, restlessly searching for a place they could settle down and work against the Government at the same time. Jordan, being an heiress of a rich investment banker, had become quite wealthy after her single father died, so with plenty of money, they pretty much had the world at their feet when the three of them set off to find a home.

Corbin was twelve when they arrived in Battery, and the small family have lived there since, his parents leading Anti-Gov operations and groups while Corbin went to school, not really showing any interest in his parents’ work. When he was seventeen, they finally sent him out of the house to join one of the local gangs and told him not to come back until he’d realized his mistake and ignorance. With no other choice, Corbin reluctantly joined the Crybabies, taking part in the rebellion in the smallest way he could think of.

SECRET: "I joined the Crybabies a few years ago so that I wouldn’t have to worry about this rebellion stuff; they seemed like a group of people who could care less, and I had the money to make the cut. Bio:

Growing up as the only son of two very well off Government officials, Corbin was expected to do as his parents wished and gain a similar position within the Government. His heart was never in it though, and he never understood how his mother and father could let being a part of the Government be practically their whole life. He felt as if his life being mapped out for him without making any decisions for himself was suffocating, so at the age of seventeen he grabbed a backpack filled with what would prove to be entirely useless objects, and ran away to find the Crybabies. He’d heard they were a bunch of former rich kids like him, so he figured he’d do better there than with one of the other more vicious gangs.

That started what was to be a whirlwind few years. The past leader of the Crybabies eventually went missing and Corbin – who’d thought he’d been blending into the background of the gang and never saw himself in any kind of leadership role (wasn’t that what he was running away from in the first place?) found himself suddenly in charge of the whole gang. His only goal is to keep them alive while still keeping some semblance of the reputation they’ve worked hard for over the years, but he’s not even sure he can do that. He acts tough and witty when they get into sticky situations, but dreads those moments because inside he’s always terrified that he’s going to screw up and get himself or them all killed. Extremely suspicious of anyone he hasn’t figured out the motivations of yet, he takes his time making decisions because he doesn’t want to make a wrong move. He’s getting better at it though, despite what he believes about himself, and really does care about the kids that have become his brothers and sisters – even if he doesn’t trust himself to do the job well.
