GENERAL   AESTHETIC: Someone   who   absolutely   loves   a   good   party.   Used   to   own   a   brothel   and   the   black   sheep   of   his   family   for   not   getting   married,   and   now   has   managed   to   land   a   spot   as   a   Master   of   Revels.

Positives: Fun,   adventerous,   playful.

FLAWS: Spoiled,   vain,   and   restless.

When   one   looks   down   the   Rosetide's   family   lineage,   they'll   see   people   who   are   often   married   to   people   of   powerful   positions.   The   family   is   known   for   their   beauty   and   social   grace,   even   by   most   kingdom's   high   standards.   But   if   one   were   to   ask   how   they   got   their   power   or   standing?   Most   wouldn't   know.   And   it's   exactly   because   the   answer   is   right   in   front   of   them.   The   Rosetide   family   didn't   have   a   trade   or   monopolized   something   in   order   to   obtain   power.   They   married   into   it.   By   being   selective   with   who   they   married   too,   it   made   their   beauty   and   desire   seem   even   more   tantilizing   to   people.   Even   with   the   balls   that   they   loved   to   throw   to   look   for   mates   for   themselves,   they   still   were   selective.   Making   sure   that   demand   was   always   high   on   them. 

But   when   Corbin   was   supposed   to   be   married   off?   There   became   complications.   It   seemed   like   every   time   he   was   destined   to   be   engaged   to   someone,   tragedy   would   strike   and   something   would   happen.   After   awhile?   Corbin   became   disheartened.   Especially   when   he   was   already   being   called   a   seamstress   by   his   siblings   and   family   members   at   the   young   age   of   20.   So,   he   did   what   no   one   else   ever   tried   to   do   before   him   in   his   family.   Corbin   tried   to   make   a   name   for   himself,   and   not   marry   into   one.   The   brothel   had   absolutely   enraged   his   parents,   feeling   as   if   it   was   lowering   the   family's   name.   However   it   came   with   a   steady   stream   of   income,   and   so   they   allowed   it.   Even   if   there   was   always   a   side   comment   here   and   there.   While   at   first   the   brothel   was   just   a   lowly   building,   Corbin   hosted   even   after   event   to   make   it   into   the   talk   of   the   town.   A   must   see   attraction. 

Eventually,   news   of   his   success   caught   even   high   people's   attention.   And   if   he   was   able   to   host   and   have   such   fun   attractions   at   such   a   vulgar   location   and   with   such   measly   funds,   what   would   he   be   able   to   do   with   a   actual   treasurey   behind   him?   He   was   approached   with   an   offer   to   become   Ritrinc's   Master   of   Revels.   It   was   his   duty   to   provide   entertainment   and   festivals,   and   this   was   something   he   was   quite   proud   of.   Now,   all   of   a   sudden,   his   family's   tune   has   changed   towards   him.   Although   he   knows   that   this   is   situational,   and   that   should   he   lose   this   position   they   would   go   back   to   the   quiet   disdain.

 ✦   MOTIVATIONS   ✦

WANTS: To   find   love   and   marry,   although   he'll   never   admit   this   outloud.   He   is   jealous   of   his   family   and   how   easy   it   was   for   them   to   find   partners,   even   if   they   didn't   marry   for   love   at   first   they   found   it.   And   he   wants   to   experience   it   himself.

FEARS: That   he'll   die   alone   and   unloved,   and   that   nobody   will   care.
