"don't you love me anymore?" ha ha ha
LOVE HAD BECOME a foreign concept. to love someone was to be selfless. the beloved is on the mind, a part of every decision. by blood or bond, they are a comfort – a warm welcome. easing the weight of the world, they are a breath of fresh air. and that is not what he feels when he sees han solo, for love is something he no longer knows.
seeing his FATHER, he feels hollow. chest empty and gasping for air he feels like he is drowning. even after all this time, there is so little but contempt. disgust. the greatest smuggler the galaxy had known – ever distant and a destined wanderer, it should have never come as a surprise. mother had been different, she had been there ( her memory doesn’t leave him suffocating ), but it wasn’t the same. a boy was meant to know the love of both.
there was no forgiving that kind of abandonment ( HE WAS A SON, yet he hardly had a father ), and an anger boils deep, tainting his tone.
❛ – no. ❜
( or maybe he loves all that much. )
