Can I have #7 with Corey from Teen Wolf? :)
‘What the hellwas that, Corey?’ you asked shrilly, tightening your grip on your best friend’shand, allowing him to pull you away from the thing that you had seen, that was trying to attack him for someunknown reason.
‘Can’t – explain now!’he panted, taking a sharp left.
You almostcollided with the wall, pushing yourself away from it just in time to followhim properly. ‘You can’t not!’ Your heart was thundering against your ribs, your mind reeling. Beacon Hills was meant to be normal, but in recent years thecracks had begun to show themselves. Death had followed in waves, and no oneseemed to be able to explain it all. Now, you were faced with some ridiculousguy in a suit, something out of your nightmares at his side, and you had noidea what to do about it.
Corey, however, seemed to have known what to do, even calling them something that now slippedyour mind.
A roar escapedfrom the mouth of an alley ahead of you and you froze. Corey stumbled to a stop. His grip on your hand tightened. He didn’t move.
‘Corey, c’mon,’you whispered as the creature rounded the corner, sniffing the air, lookingblankly down the alleyway. ‘Now’s not the time to –’
‘Sshh,’ he said, voice oddly calm as he peered towards the monster. You could feel him shaking, but there was an odd kind of confidence in the rise of his shoulders, of thestraightness to his back. ‘Just trustme.’
You wantednothing more than to run as the creature slunk forward. But you held firm, someof that because of Corey’s grip on your hand.
The creatureneared. It’s nose was inches away from you. It’s lips curled back over itsteeth in a snarl. And then –
It moved on. Islunk away from you as if it hadn’t seen you, or Corey.
As soon as it wasout of sight Corey relaxed his grip. His shoulders sunk and the mask ofconfidence was gone, replaced with sheer relief.
‘Tell me what thehell that was!’ you said shrilly, rounding on him.
Corey sighed. ‘It’sa long story,’ he murmured, but you knew that he was going to tell youeverything as soon as you were somewhere safe.
