“Nope, not a chance!” Al smiled innocently, feeling far too pleased with himself as he continued to lightly tickle Ed’s sides. He wasn’t stopping until he succeeded in causing Ed to fall into a helpless fit of giggles.

Another Time, Another Place

{~🔥  Getting the country back in order from after the Promise Day, Roy barely had any time to himself anymore. Though the good that they’re doing, righting the wrong to the Ishvalan people and letting them back in their homeland. After all, it is the least they can do for them after the horrid ordeal over the years that have stricken their land of life.

  So it’s no surprise that by the end of the day, the Brigadier general groans heavily and runs his fingers through his hair. Taking the long way home when a small burst of light caught his attention and he turns to look down an alley. 

  Curiously, the man starts down it before he starts to see a familiar trace of golden hair followed by the all to familiar groan. 

      “Fullmetal? What are you doing down here?”      🔥~}

                “ I wasn’t sleeping, I was just resting my eyes. ”     Paperwork was enough to put anybody to sleep. Luck happened to be on his side it would seem, however, as it was not the Colonel who stumbled upon him this time.     “ Was there something you needed? ”       @cormetallix / starter call

Although this field of flowers was beautiful, and although Riza had no reason to feel like she was on duty, she still wasn’t expecting Edward to put a flower over her ear. This place... it was beautiful, and Riza had been taking a moment to take it in, her hair loose and blowing in the wind, the breeze making her skirt play around her calves. It was beautiful, and relaxing, and if she closed her eyes she could just about imagine that she was with the one that she wanted to be with the most...

But her eyes had opened when she felt someone touch her hair, and felt a flower go over her ear. Now she reached up and gently touched it, looking at Edward with a smile, and curious eyes. “Ed?” she said. “What’s this for?”

One thing Hawkeye was not prepared for, was for Edward to grab her wrist, and give her a command. She looked back at him with a fierce look. This was not a time for her to be held back, it was time for her to be involved! There were people for her to protect, a duty she had, no matter where she was or if she was in uniform or not. 

But he was not holding her back with his flesh hand, and that made it more difficult to get away. She held her gun in her other hand, at the ready. “Edward, let me go,” she said. “I’ve got to go help--I have a duty to!”

Silently Roy peeked his head out his office door,  eyes scoping the vicinity.

“Psssssst--Fullmetal. .!” Roy creaked the door open further. “Will you do me a favor??”

takes out a lighter and burns it. "nah I don't want it."

Snapping the paper down, Roy stared at Edward, slits for eyes. “Whadda mean you don’t want it? Don’t be ungrateful, Elric.”
