4 GIGANTIC MEN WITH NO SHIRTS TAUNT TYSON FURY!!!
On September 20, British heavyweight, David Haye (26-2, 24KO), suffered a cut over his left eye a mere 8 days before his previously scheduled fight to unbeaten challenger Tyson Fury (21-0 (15KO), causing the bout to be postponed.
Over the course of the week, the two sides squabbled over whether the fight should go on. Fury threatened to move on and (shockingly) called David Haye "stupid" for sparring so near to fight night.
After much back and forth between the two camps they were able to reschedule the fight for February 8, 2014 (!!!) Only a mere 5 months away (!!!!).
Apparently the severity of the cut to Haye's left eye has forced him to seek full facial reconstructive surgery and will need the entirety of five months (!!!!) to heal.
With the fight now back on, the verbal jawing renewed in full force.
Tyson Fury, lashed out at his counterpart.
"I'm so glad to have this fight rescheduled. In my opinion, he's a classless prima donna, a diva, a no-good wannabe Bollywood actor and I can't wait to put him in his place," Fury said.
An upbeat David Haye released this statement about the "Gypsy Giant":
"Tyson Fury might start to get brave now that he's received a stay of execution -- and he might call me names and accuse me of ducking him -- but that will all be short-lived, I can promise you," he said. "After hearing the nonsense he has come out with in the last few days, I'm even more determined to expose him in front of millions. And only the possibility of getting another chance to land punches on his massive head and doughy gut has helped cheer me up."
Unbelievable. ONLY in Boxing.
David Haye has been full of it his entire career. How many Brits will shell out to watch David Haye vs Monte Barrett 2 on PPV?!
