hmmmm, this one is kinda tricky!! honestly the way i see it, the best way to live a fulfilling life is to well...be less afraid to live it. nowadays i feel like so much of what we're expected to do in the realm of our jobs and careers, education, relationships, wellness, and the like is based on what has worked for other's in the past rather what would be best for us as individuals. and while sure when it comes to certain things, conventional wisdom can be the best approach and sometimes we are limited by our circumstances, i also think it's best to trust your gut and to maybe be a bit "naive" in following your dreams. it's something im trying to work on myself, to be less afraid to be vulnerable and ashamed of what i love, but ultimately i think it's for the best if that makes sense :3

Once we get done with that, we eat at the table & talk. Once we get done eating, we clean up & head to the bedroom. One of us makes the bed while the other heads to the bathroom. When one of us gets done making the bed, Rumi or I head to the bathroom to brush our teeth & get dressed. Once we get done in the bathroom, we hug, kiss & say have a good day at work before heading out.

since she's completely unable to race, she doesn't need to train (nor can she LOL) so she spends a lot of time doing extracurricular stuff! she spends a lot of time in the theatre room obviously, but tbh i think she'd honestly help out in the student council room a lot too. i'm pretty attentive to detail IRL, so i think she'd be good at catching little oversights for the council! i'm a very homebody-ish person too so i think she'd spend a lot of time just in her dorm (ritto dorm. of course) too, and in the infirmary as well since she's chronically ill and often doesn't feel well. i'd like to think she occasionally helps or gives insight/advice there too! something about being chronically ill is that you end up with a lot of secondhand medical knowledge LMAO

"My first thought was how sweet she is. Rebecca and I met when I saved her from the villain. After I beat the villain, I went up to her, asking her if she was okay. She almost couldn’t speak ‘cause of how strong & badass I am. About a week after I saved her, she saw me again walking in the street. She walked up to me & thank me for saving her. I said it’s no problem, I’m just hopping around & kicking the bad guys’ butts! She smiled at me, admiring her of how strong I am. She blushed when I said that. I noticed she was blushing and asked her what she was blushing about. She told me ever since I saved her, she started to have feelings for me. It caught me off guard when she said that, I said in a calm voice saying how very sweet of her, I called her little bunny and said she was cute when her face is red. She asked me if she want to have a coffee date with her and I said yes. After asking me out, she & I gave each other our phone numbers and started to call & text each other. Rebecca & I had our coffee date together and that was our first date. After the coffee date, she and I walked somewhere private, it’s just me & her. see i've thought about this a little bit, but it's hard to say When in canon, at least timeline-wise... honestlyyyy i'm thinking that i would probably first be introduced in an anecdote for windsong detailing her first experiences actually Working in Laplace! i'd like to think i'm one of the first people to greet her when she first starts working there - i find her study of leylines super interesting, too! in my head, we first communicate primarily through friendly sticky notes left for the other - we share the trait of "nervous around people we find attractive" but the sticky notes are a good way to get more comfortable with each other. i'm definitely the more extroverted one (she's an INTP - i'm an ENFx. 😭) though, so i'm the one that takes the chance and leaves the first one! i'm also the one that initiates the first In-Person Conversations. 🤭
5. does your self insert have any special powers or abilities?
CLAPS MY HANDS TOGETHER. Oh Boy Do I. (that's literally what an arcanist is HELP.) a lot of time, arcane skills in canon aren't really like... super described? like i feel like with half the cast (maybe more /ref) we have only a vague understanding of what their arcane skills actually ARE. that being said, i've thought a bit about what mine would be - why would i be called "watch eyes?" because my arcane skill would be about perception and gleaning details from others, of course. it's why i work in the rehabilitation department with mesmer jr - i'm exceptionally good with the patients, and i can help them even if they aren't able to explicitly tell me what's wrong. (it also has the side bonus of making me super efficient at manning the artificial somnambulism... thing.)

my absolute BESTIE of ALL TIME for EVER is vila!! my thought is that i meet her after the events of her character story. i headcanon that the st. pavlov foundation asks her + avgust + the rest of the rayashki kids to get Checked Oute at the rehabilitation center after that (note: laplace and the foundation work super closely together a lot) and that's how i meet her! she asks me if i know windsong and i LIGHT UP and then we just get along like a house on FIRE after that.
avgust also takes an immediate shine to me, which is double-good because he's an excellent judge of character, so vila knows she can trust and count on me. i'm quite protective of him in my own right - if vila is my best friend, avgust is like her son to me, which makes me his... auntie?
i wouldn't say that mesmer jr considers me a "friend", but she does think of me as "reliable" and one of the only people in the department that she isn't irritated by. she knows she can count on me to get work done in our department.
i have probably been (affectionately) (citation needed?) hazed by medicine pocket several times, but i'm still kind to them of course, and they do acknowledge that i'm pretty competent at my job. they aren't in my department, but they do feel my absence when i'm on my leave-of-absence, especially since mesmer jr is more irritable without me.
