calling what the government of Russia did to Ukraine "an oopsie" is insane. you were not the victim in that situation, and making it about yourself is an awful thing to do.
for context, people of Ukraine are often forced to pirate things because Russian ships will block incoming shipments of food, water, supplies, etc. it is a harmful jab, stereotyping that all Ukrainians pirate things or steal things constantly.
not only this, but they used to be friends / associated with publicly known proshippers such as wishingstarinajar. this is obviously less important, but i still find it odd enough to point out.
i'm sure there's more if you scrounge through her old Twitter posts, but these are the ones i could find.
i am aware that these are old. and, she no longer publicly follows these people on her twitter. however, she hasn't acknowledged this from what i know. i'm not accusing her of being a proshipper herself, but this is very strange.
now, if i am wrong about her never apologizing or acknowledging any of this this, please correct me. i just think that her actions shouldn't be swept under the rug and forgiven just because 1. she's popular, and 2. a bit of time has passed. it's important to hold such prominent figures in our community accountable for their actions.
please do not go out of your way to harass cornmayor or anyone associated with them. that's not what i want from this. honestly, im just confused on if a lot of people just genuinely don't know this, or there's an apology cornmayor stated out there that i don't know about??
