I'm still so shocked. A group of us practice fire spinning on the moor, which is completely legal, but tonight a man(who said he was allegedly part of the council) came and said that last week he had told us to stop, and he'd been assured we would, and now what the 'fuck' were we doing here. As none of us had been week before we had no idea if this was true or not, so we told him this and he just kept repeating this point. He continued to swear at us, and told one of us that he was going to 'fucking lamp' him unless we moved. He then called the police on us, and when they arrived, we talked to them; they were completely reasonable and just said as long as you aren't causing danger to anyone then this is fine. It later transpired that he'd come here to put up some lights, which he never said anything about in the first place. I just can't get over how negative and rude he was for no reason, when we didn't even raise our voices, and how he is supposed to be a representative of the council.
