@gabrielesummers
Scott can see Gabriel watching him before he even makes it through the Gate. He can’t see his face but he doesn’t need it to perfectly capture the disappointment. He was supposed to bring the rest of the X-men. Their big happy family, reunited again. Instead, he brought Logan.
The guards are going through his belongings, shouting their questions and waving guns in his face. He’s strip searched and checked for bite marks before finally someone makes the call to let red glasses through. It’s irritating. He’s exhausted.
He grabs his bag, making his way to Gabe pulling his brother in an uncharacteristic hug. “They told me on the radio you made it.”. He’s shaking his head as he steps back, red lenses tilted downward. “They weren’t there Gabe. Xavier’s was abandoned. Walkers everwhere. The school was empty. We searched for days, whereever they went to they didn’t leave a trace.”
I CAN SHOW YOU THE WORLD ⟶ SLEVI
Santana stood in front of the mirror in their hotel bathroom and checked over her make-up once again. It was perfect. She could hear the faint noise of Levi moving around the bedroom part of their suite, probably looking for clothes he could change into so they could get out of here. The flight over here wasn’t too bad and as much as she didn’t want to, she resisted pulling him into the little airplane bathroom and screwing him senseless.
If she was being honest, airplane sex was kinda awkward. Like, in the movies they make the bathroom seem huge to the point where you can actually move around but in “real-life” planes, that shit is uncomfortable as hell. But anyway, she resisted and by the time they got to the hotel, they were both exhausted and just crashed for a good 12 hours or so.
Now they’re both up and awake and ready to see what this city has in store for them. Santana’s been to San Francisco a few times and since Levi’s never been before, she fully intends on showing him all the big tourist-y spots. One thing you can’t not do when you come to San Fran is go to Pier 39. Just being on the pier puts people in a good mood and Santana’s been eager to get her hands on one of those amazing bread bowls from Boudin’s.
Running her hand through her hair, she fluffed it up a little bit, getting it to flow down her back just how she liked it, before calling out to him, “Babe, you ready?” She heard his voice through the walls of the hotel room and gave herself a one last once-over before making her way out. She spotted him as soon as she got out and licked her lips when she saw that he was half-naked, his shirt lying limply over his shoulder. Strolling on up to him, she let her hands rest on his hips as she leaned up on her tip-toes to press a kiss to his lips. “Do you love it here already?”
Hot for Teacher
This was always the worst part, the first day looks. The whispered who's that when she walked in the door. It always blew over though, and she just focused on getting to her locker and following the paper printout of her schedule to her first class.
This was the second-worst part, finding a seat while everyone wondered who she was. It was only a few weeks into the school year but enough that she stuck out, and with her nose in the air she found an empty chair and prayed her teacher wouldn't do something as corny and stupid as introduce the new student.
Reunion || Carter and Zach
Zach gave a slight smile as he stood up so he could get ready to go over to Carter's. He missed Carter. He missed him a lot. He had only been gone for a day or so, but even that was too long. Zach put on a plain black v neck and a pair of his jeans. Then he fixed his hair, pulled on his shoes, and headed toward Carter's cabin. Zach arrived at Carter's door, knocking and grinning from ear to ear. "CARTERRRR!" He called through the door.
Autumn Air || Maddox and Klaus
Okay, this was a good thing. Maddox literally hadn't stepped a foot outside since he got here, more than a week ago. Maybe opening up a window from time to time counted, but this was the real thing, now, the real thing that he had actually had to bundle up for, wool black coat with the collar pulled up and a scarf and all, not really used to New York weather. He was used to hotter than this, at least, this was about 20 degrees colder than it should be this time of year, in his opinion, so he was keeping his coat hugged tight around him with the buttons done up, the smoke of his cigarette keeping his insides warm.
Sitting on a bench out in the grass, he leaned cautiously back against the metal, not wanting to feel the cold through his coat but it wasn't so bad and it would warm up if he kept that up, at least. The leaves would occasionally be blown off their trees by a mild breeze in the crisp air, the air that was making his head feel a little clearer even though he was keeping up his usual routine of trying not to think about much in general.
Is The Hour at hand?
I've only seen the first episode of The Hour and I'm waiting for the whole season to finish downloading before I watch but I've seen conflicting reports about the show. On one hand there are a lot of praises from people I trust and follow on both LJ and Tumblr, on the other another set of people I follow on other blogs don't seem to like the show... I mean they do cite merits (Lix) but they seemed very disappointed with Bel for not living up to character expectations, annoyed with Freddie for bordering or sometimes crossing the annoying Nice Guy line and outrightly skeeved off Hector.
I admit I have character expectations of Bel... and that's Bel rising to the challenge of producing the news magazine.
So, um, just a question all knowing Dash, is it worth it watching The Hour? Downloading the show is going to take a lot of space and time (my net connection is slow these days) so I'd really like to know now if its worth my time getting the next three episodes?
