Fuck you COVID-19

I've tried to ignore the news. I've been good, staying in my home & only going out for food. But tonight I broke & read the news. Some of the latest developments are estimating this won't be over by August, let alone June for my wedding..

I'm angry. I'm furious. I'm sad. I'm getting depressed about it. I know that I should be grateful - I thankfully still have a job, I'm not out there working where I can get infected, I can continue to pay my bills & my mortgage..

But I'm still furious. I've been planning my wedding for over a year now. I was so excited to FINALLY have parties JUST FOR ME. Is that selfish? Maybe. But damnit dude, I do EVERYTHING for everyone else. Is it so much to ask to just have it be ABOUT ME?!! (& the husband to be. But let's be real, he hasn't been dreaming about this, I have) FOR ONCE!!??? Just once!!!

I don't think I'm asking too much here.. I really don't.
