Japan could well be one of the countries most affected by the coronavirus in the world. It was among the first to confirm infections, just days after China began alerting to the outbreak.
They also have a high level of tobacco consumption, which does not help in fighting respiratory diseases. But perhaps the most curious thing in the case of Japan is that, despite all of the above, the Government has not decreed the blockade of its regions or the compulsory isolation of its citizens in order to stop the spread of the virus.
