Undead Horrors of Ancardia
An example sheet of a number of the more powerful undead beings that can be found in Ancardia, beyond the simple necromantic puppets of corpses and bones. A great many of these creatures are animated through some fairly evil-natured magic, brought undeath by the insorcism of a fiendish spirit into the warped remains, and will be intelligent and conscious in a malevolent way, obeying their master's will so long as it furthers some malice. The necromancer without fully ill intentions often finds a corpse fiend, an ijirac, or a wight they create may turn on them if they have such a change of heart.
The broad exception is the Skeleton King--a giant being constructed of many smaller skeletal pieces and animated. Skeleton Kings may be created as semi-intelligent puppets, or may be imbued with a sinister spirit. Either way, such creatures are among the most horrifying and dangerous undead you could encounter.
