MA HOLY FUCK. My sister got a new job- starbucks, whatever- and she came home from work today and said the PERSON WHO WORKS AT THE DRIVE THROUGH USES SHE/HER PRONOUS. AMD MY SISTER IS ACTUALLY FUCKING RESPECTING THEM. I cant get my family to respect mine, but this chick is getting the respect and it’s so nice.
I am really happy when people respect and use the correct pronouns!!! Nowdays when we email within my university or even during zoom calls with other people during networking, we are all asked to put in our pronouns and its so great to feel like its something that’s being respected!!!
I also just read your second ask and :/ it always sucks when people cant change a liiiittle part of their vocabulary or regular speech pattern to respect people. I am really sorry that your sister does not respect your pronouns or the coworkers...I really hope things will get better in the future!! Wishing you all the best!
