A lot of folx ask me why I am running for International Ms Leather; I am running because I know that I can be a positive role model for non-binary inclusion in our communities. I have been let down more than once by this community that I call home. But as a Random friend told me, ohana means no one gets left behind or forgotten. When you are in a class competing for a title you are bonded with those people forever. Even if they turn their back on you, stop you from volunteering, secretly record your interview from last year and share it with the other contestants and break your heart. There is a place for you here in this community my lost Bois. I’ll take the brunt of our initial inclusion so that the path is an easier Leather walk for you than it was for me. IMsL, time to step up and admit you did wrong. . . . #nonbinarywomyn #onlinecompetencyintheleathercommunity #theyspecificallyaskedmehowiidentify #actionsspeaklouderthanwords #showmehowyoutakeresponsibilty #respectidentity #allsexualitiesarevalid #allgendersarevalid #correctingtheelders @imsleather can you see me now?
