I feel like we call Corrin ‘stupid’ because calling them ‘stupid’ is easier than saying “Anankos directed Garon to keep Corrin as isolated, as ignorant of the outside world, and to erode their boundaries as much as possible, because the more isolated and ignorant of the outside world Corrin was, the fewer boundaries Corrin had, the easier they would be to manipulate and exploit. Xander and the others had far less power to mitigate the extent of this abuse than is immediately obvious, and could only watch as Corrin was, essentially, thrown headfirst into the deep end of the pool, having never been taught to swim. Of course it was going to be a disaster. Of course Corrin was going to flounder.”

Calling Corrin ‘stupid’ is easier than saying that. It’s less of a mouthful. It’s also far less accurate.

Xander:

Camilla used to be taller than Xander and is super salty that he outgrew her. She pulls him down and pats his head even though he mutters that they aren’t kids. His crown is cold and pokes her hand a little and his hair is a bit thin from stress. Still a good head pat though and it’s always amusing to see him blush. 7/10 a little awkward but still good

Leo:

Leo is Camilla’s constant head pat victim. He barely even questions it now. When he was a kid he would cry if Camilla was too busy to praise him after a hard day of training. Actually, he still gets a bit huffy when he hasn’t been praised in a while, although he would never admit it! The top of his head is warm and smells like coconut shampoo 9/10 great familiar head pats

Elise:

Camilla wants to cry when she praises Elise because her sister smiles so wide that everything is right in the world! Elise always pats Camilla’s head, too, which starts the waterworks. Elise’s hair is super soft because she treats it all the time to give it Camilla’s lavender streaks. 20/10 amazing time

Corrin:

If Corrin is near Camilla they are getting head pats, end of story. They always giggle and blush a bit and never protest much so it’s very worth it. Camilla gets a great high out of doting on Corrin and it keeps them both very happy 10/10 enjoyable and wholesome

Hinoka:

The first time Camilla gives Hinoka some head pats is after Hinoka protects her from an arrow by deflecting it. For a moment Camilla forgets that she isn’t praising one of her siblings and just… pats that fluffy red hair. Hinoka blushes so hard she looks like a tomato and Camilla just giggles and only sort of apologises.

“I’m sorry, sweetheart. Do you like it rougher than that?” Camilla says with a wink.

Hinoka storms off and says that the next arrow is going straight between her eyes. 10/10 warm head pats and budding sexual tension

Camilla (Bonus:)

One day everyone lines up and decides to pat Camilla on the head for once because they want to make sure she feels their love. Camilla cries and hugs everyone to her chest and says they’re all silly for ever doubting how much love she feels from them. 99/10 she deserves it
