[ i’ll keep it plain and simple; i’ll stick to dhmis since that’s the current fandom i’m in right now.

i’m pretty sure everyone and their mother has taken note of this, but my dhmis otp is romantic padlock. now you’d think that when you say “otp,” you’d automatically think ‘well they’re gonne be romantic, right?’ WRONG. the fandom has this stupid-ass fucking ship where tony and paige hate eachother’s guts and constantly kill each other and always end each death with a kiss? i don’t even fucking know, but i hate it. i like romantic padlock better. it’s cuter, it makes more sense( since tony doesn’t hate on everyone and doesn’t treat others like dirt ) –

i also ship gilbert and tony. albeit that’s just for mother earth and father time shit. i want to interact with a gilbert about time zones and shit.

and i’m currently on the fence about tony and colin. ]

i really don’t like tony / shrignold. i feel like they’re opinions would be the exact opposite, and their personalities are already kind of different in a way. especially since shrignold is much more forceful and direct, while tony is more lenient( unless someone mocks time ), and uses examples to connect people to time.

also, i feel that tony would want credibility of shit? i mean, he isn’t gonna force someone to ask where they got factual evidence from, but he just uses logic more. hearing the story of “michael,” would ake tony question shrignold’s way of living. and i feel that’s connected to the fact that he not only represents the future, but the past as well. the past happened and he’s seen it happen. does that make sense?

it’s also the fact that love takes time, which is what tony believes. however shrignold believes that love can happen in any amount of time, for whatever reason, and can bloom like an explosion if one takes a glance at their special one. ]

[ so i had this idea of a padlock thread that i shared with both @creatiivum and @corruptcreativity where tony sends paige / sketch back in time to the renaissance era, where creativity basically flourished.

and tony would, as they’re watching the growth of art go by, explain what’s happening as they stare in awe at the masterpieces history has to offer.
