Akefia hated this city. He’d only been here a matter of hours and he hated it. Everybody dressed strangely, the buildings were real, and everything seemed to move really fast. Giant coloured monsters zoomed across the city, far faster than any monster he’d seen before.
To say he was confused would have been an understatement. This new world was scary, and he didn’t understand what had happened to his world. It was a reasonable assumption that he had died.
Embarrassingly, he’d simply gotten overwhelmed with emotion at his loss, fear of this new place, and confusion and the thief king had fainted. He’d hit his head quite hard on the pavement too, and he could feel a slight dampness as he allowed himself to be helped up by the angel who’d appeared before him.
The thief was concussed to say the least when he’d murmured the words and he hadn’t really listened to the response. He steadied himself against a nearby fire hydrant and moved a hand to touch the wetness at the back of his head.He pulled his fingers away to find blood and frowned at it.
“Ow... Hey... got any bandages...?” Akefia asked, weakly. Did angels know how to carry out first aid...?
