"Oh my goddess- Link, is that blood? I-Is it yours?"

    Link looked over at the sound of Zelda’s voice. A panicked sort of shame filled him - he had never wanted her to see him like this. At least when she had thought he died the image of a hero who had tried his hardest and stayed noble had been preserved in her head. 

“I’m  f i n e, please don’t worry.”

He had been gone out, in disguise of course. There had been a place he wanted to revisit, when he’d been startled by a group of bandits. Instinctively when he’d felt them sneak up on him, he’d snapped into battle mode.

And only after their blood stained him had he remembered.

His sort of vigilantism didn’t belong in this world.

He’d left them outside a medical clinic with some money to pay for the services, but a pained sort of look still embedded itself in his features despite the smile he wore.

{↮} -- Link walked into the Castle and waved to the guards. He was so excited today. He had made something for the Princess and wanted to give it to her. He had been hanging out with Saria and she showed him how to do this. Once he saw her, he waved and ran up to her. 

He smiled and held out a small ringlet of flowers that he had made.
