Mosler MT900 S Twin-Turbocharged
This 2009 Mosler MT900S is powered by a mid-mounted 7.0-liter Chevrolet LS7 V8 that features twin turbochargers, an intercooler, and dry-sump lubrication and is mated to a Porsche six-speed manual transaxle. Featuring carbon-fiber construction, the car is finished in metallic green over tan leather and is equipped with staggered-width Dymag carbon-fiber and magnesium wheels, ventilated and slotted disc brakes with six-piston calipers and adjustable bias, a Gibson quad-outlet exhaust system, an adjustable rear wing, fixed-back carbon-fiber seats, air conditioning, power windows and locks, and a navigation system. The MT900 was developed in the late-1990s by Mosler Automotive, an offshoot of Warren Mosler’s Consulier Industries, and debuted as a prototype in 2001 before entering production as the street-legal MT900S in 2005. Construction incorporated a carbon-fiber monocoque with chromoly steel front and rear subframes wrapped in a carbon-fiber body styled by Corvette C5 design-team member Ron Trenne.
