C7 Corvette Z06
Star Trek Voyager is a show designed to create insane shippers because there’s so much potential chemistry in the crew but the actual canon pairings are… not the best.
To illustrate my point, this is how I, a Voyager fan, would rank how much romantic chemistry each character has with the crew and also their top three pairings chemistry-wise:
1) Janeway (duh, she’s the chaotic bisexual Captain)
2) Paris (this chaotic bisexual pilot has chemistry with most of the crew)
3) Kim (he may just be an Ensign but he’s got chemistry with a lot of the crew)
4) Torres (she’s got a sensible amount of chemistry with the crew)
5) Seven (she’s got good chemistry with the Captain…)
6) Chakotay (he’s also got good chemistry with the Captain…)
7) Kes (there was some potentially good chemistry but alas)
8) Neelix (there was a a bit of potential chemistry perhaps)
9) The Doctor (there wasn’t much good chemistry…)
10) Tuvok (I’m not including any pairings for him because he is committed to T’pel)
So which couples are actually canon? These guys:
There’s only one canon couple in Voyager that I actually think has good chemistry, and that’s kind of insane in a show with a crew that’s full of pairings with chemistry…
I just finished re-watching the entire Star Trek Voyager and this time I was making an effort to be cool and objective about Seven and Chakotays's relationship. No, like really. Maybe I missed something the first time.
I was looking for *any* signs, *any* tiny gestures that might point out that their relationship was anything more than colleagues, but honestly there's is **NOTHING**. Literally, nothing.
Maybe I'm simply unable to be unbiased about it but imho Chakotay doesn't even act like he likes Seven at all. He values her knowledge and expertise alright but I don't think he even likes her, and there are many moments throughout the seasons where Seven clearly annoys the shit out of him - and for a man generally as patient and understanding as Chakotay, that's saying something.
There's literally nothing until the End Game and even then there was literally zero need to put then in a romantic relationship, the plot didn't require it at all.
I'm just trying to understand this writing decision and I cannot for the life of me understand WHYYYYYYYYY.
If these two were stranded on a deserted planet together they'd live in two seperate houses, miles from each other.
I appreciate that every time I tell a JC fan that I am a staunch J7 supporter the response is invariably “well at least it makes more sense than C7” which…yeah…low bar but solidarity my brothers. Sorry that our ships are equally as canon
Did you know? Canto 7 was actually going to have an entirely different plotline. (Datamined by blue avian starseeds fyi)
So we all know Don Quixote has an abusive father known as John. The city is built upon human suffering, and after LCB had been lacing Don Quixote's breakfast every morning with psychedelics, she was incredibly happy and oblivious. She remembered nothing.
In fact, it became an issue. Not even the Red Silence could talk sense into her. She was getting happier and happier, which is a significantly bad thing. So, the LCB decided to visit Don Quixote's home, La Manchaland, to find her father John.
After locating John, he swiftly appeared before Don Quixote, asking her to partake in the "Nightmare Blunt Rotation". (C7 was originally titled Canto 7, The Nightmare Blunt Rotation).
John handed out "The Wild Blunt" to Don Quixote.
Now, the most fierce thing about the wild blunt is the fact it turns your eyes red and makes you cannibalistic. (This explains why Don Quixote eats a homeless man in Part 3)
However, the most insane part? After letting the wild blunt come inside you, you gain the ability to summon "Dullacineahan".
Dullacineahan may be based off of the Nordic myth Dullahan.
Anyway, Dullacineahan is actually very nice and kind. Instead of having a fierce smoke-off, John creates a theme park out of blood for him and Don Quixote to watch their Dullacineahans race on. This may have been inspired by Unamusume.
Not a lot more is known, but there is this datamined sprite of what appears to be green... Don Quixote?
After the canto, Don Quixote didn't really change. She sometimes turns into a scary demon, but this is because she sometimes has too much toe cheese and needs someone to get rid of it.
What do you think? Limbus could've taken weird paths...

I'm really upset because people are still ridiculing Chakotay's character. Not only did they create awful romances for him on Voyager, but they also made him get involved with a much younger and totally inexperienced woman… now they're turning him into a complete irresponsible idiot, inventing meaningless feelings for someone he saw once in his life and abandoning Seven because of it?! Okay, I agree that the brief romance with Archer made more sense than the one with Seven, but it made sense when and how it happened. Having Chakotay say he still feels something for her after so much time and after the little time they spent together trivializes Chakotay as a man and portrays him as someone who lacks emotional responsibility, and that's pathetic! And I hate that they do this to him! Honestly, that doesn't seem like something a fan would do.
