questions 20, 35, 2, and 8. <3
20. favourite piece of music from the soundtrack?
oh thank god now i have an excuse to go back and re-listen to every single track lorne balfe created for this show. kind of kidding. i cant choose just one so:
the end of the magisterium bc this is the track where lyra and will both enter the windows to the world of cittagazze at the same time. not "crossing worlds" or "bridge to the stars" NOPE. "the end of the magisterium" is the song that plays when lyra and will, the two children of the prophecy destined to bring the end of destiny, take their first physical steps that will bring them to each other, and therefore bring about the release of the ghosts in the land of the dead, killing god, and the kiss that brings dust back into the worlds. and lorne balfe was like. we're gonna title this accordingly. because he's insane, i guess. jesus fucking christ. anyway it always gives me chills.
also the strength of gyptians, for the power in the strings, a parallel sky, for being the best opening track of any season ever, asriel's republic because what the fucking christ, children of the prophecy bc it's just SO. WILL AND LYRA. MY KIDDOS., and i love you, which has the absolute worst name you could ever call the song that plays over lyra leaving pan behind on the shores of the world of the dead (again, lorne balfe, are you fucking kidding me).
35. pick a scene that lives in your head rent free
"when i heard him hurting you i wanted to kill him" and "you dont need to be like anyone else, lyra. they would be lucky to be anything like you." which are the same scene. but you know.
I Really Love Will Parry Hours (aka every hour ever). *opening and closing my mouth like a fish* he's—he's my favorite fictional character that exists. 💖💛
8. favourite pan form?
