“Chained” (continuation of our thread maybe? She caught him in transforming so he grabbed her)
“Nnngh...” Futaba was paying the price for her recklessness and stalking.
She had decided to follow Akechi after it was very much clear something was not right, something was off with him. There was no way he could heal that quickly and yet she saw it happen. What was he hiding? Why was he hiding it? She used her stealth techniques to try to follow him inconspicuously, hiding into crowds whenever he would look behind him. It all seemed to be going so well, though she wasn’t really getting anything that would explain why he had such super healing powers like that.
And then it happened. As they got into a more secluded area, she tripped over something and gave herself away. And when she looked up he was transforming into his wolf self.
Her mind wasn’t able to process what was going on as she was almost immediately grabbed, probably out of instinct and then forced onto the ground being held down in such a way that if even she wanted to, she could not escape. Followed by being tied up so she couldn't go anywhere. Was this really the same Akechi? What the heck was going on? She found herself in quite a hairy predicament and she was definitely going to have to explain why she was stalking him.

If you asked King, it was a great place to let out anger or stress. Which was exactly why he was down here today
As he was walking down, ready to slaughter Shadows, he saw a familiar looking person.
Himself.
The first thing he did was summon Loki to make sure he didn't have a Shadow. Sure enough, Loki came at his call, but disappeared when they realized there was no fight to be had. So instead, King pulled out his gun... took aim... and fired in the direction of the 'imposter'.
"I see you didn't sink with his ship. I guess you'll have to die by my hands instead."

Summer was always a time of year Ann looked forward to, maybe it was the ability to more easily meet up with friends, maybe it was the festivals and free time- maybe it was the complete and utter lack of school for a month that she enjoyed so much. When she wasn’t working modeling gigs, Ann typically didn’t have a ton planned, leaving herself free for whenever the other former thieves wanted to go ahead and meet up.
Today she had made plans with Goro, while things had originally been tense between the two post Shido’s palace, eventually they too had settled into a comfortable friendship. It had been a while since she had last seen the detective and she was eager to meet up with him again.
As she came into the jazz club they had agreed to meet at she found a couple seats with a good view of the stage and and claimed them, setting her bag in the other chair. Now all there was to do was to wait for her companion (and maybe order a few sweets).

Coming back in the apartment with a box of pastries in arms, Takashi set the box on a table and removed his scarf to put on a coat racket. His boyfriend had been so tired recently he fell asleep on the couch, so Takashi thought it would be best to put a blanket over Goro and surprise him with his beloved sweet pastries. Checking to see if Goro had woken up, Takashi went to the couch he was sleeping on.
“The hell..?” To his confusion, it appeared Goro wasn’t there anymore, but the blanket was left exactly where it was. In fact, he saw a small lump underneath the blanket. He reached out to lift the blanket from the couch. And underneath was a brown-haired child who was starting to wake up.
This place was.... yikes. The smell was everywhere, putting him on edge. Eyes glamoured to just be their mundane brown, he surveys the walking path before spotting some rando. He looked... Japanese? Dammit, he got lost on the way home. Regardless, he’ll use what he can.
“ Hey, wait a minute. You don’t wanna go that way. There’s some big animal that’s hanging around there, I don’t know where it is but...”
Ruby looks back from where he came to the stranger in front of him. His nose twitches, trying to figure out the smells and their sources... Maybe his nose is overstimulated?

It had to be a dream--there was no other explanation for what he was seeing. His own Shadow? Someone’s cognition? Impossible. No, it was nothing more than a nightmare, a vision he sent to himself during his darkest moments. How often did he close his eyes, only to be plagued by his own mind? Horrors playing on a loop to torment him even in his most restful hours. All he had to do was wake up, open his eyes and put an end to all of this--
Something in the distance shrieked, a high, keening sort of shriek that sent real shivers down Goro’s spine. Feeling the last of his sanity beginning to splinter, Goro stumbled backward, absentmindedly reaching up to pinch his own arm. Under normal circumstances he would have laughed at his own stupidity, but the pain he felt was all too real, the world around him too real.
--not happening, this is not happening, it’s NOT HAPPENING--
“Stay away from me,” he spat, hardly caring what ghastly apparition stood before him. Whatever it was wore his face, and while he might have tried to destroy such an impostor he knew better than to let himself be overcome. Something else was out there, something he could practically feel lurking in the darkness, hunting him--them--
“Leave me the hell alone!”
