*As Corvidus walks up to the tent you see a person quickly gets startled and close the tent, after a few minutes of talking he eventually opens up the tent again* ....Hello um.... Welcome to the Olipeligo?
*her head tilts* You look funny! *She looks barely shorter than the two brothers, but her saber fangs are barely visible*
Well, after many, many hours, I finally finished this dumb little Minicomic. The two characters here are Pumpkos and Corvidus, they’re new and I wanted to test out their dynamic a bit. Uhhhh yeah. Happy belated Halloween!
Infinite Possibilities
No way.
That was Corvidus’ initial reaction, as he read over the preliminary readings. There had to be a mistake! If not... he was the luckiest scavenger this side of Fichina. He double checked it-- no, triple checked it! The second reading confirmed the results of the first exactly. Was this a trap? A ploy? This deep in space? No, no... scans showed he was alone for light-years in all directions. And his scanners were the best in the business! He set a course, and moved in closer, to bring it up on the viewfinder.
No way!
The image was grainy - he was still a ways out from the coordinates, but he could see it well enough to know what it was. How did it get here? Alone? Abandoned? It wasn’t the sort of thing you just... left out. But as he drew closer, it became much clearer on the screen. His feathers ruffled, both with excitement - and a hint of fear! Was he doing this? Was this smart? He’d never get another chance, not in fifty lifetimes! A low caw escaped him as the Omen came to, right in front of his finding. A moment of hesitation; leaving it was the smart choice. But taking it... that was the exciting choice! He flicked a few buttons and opened the Omen’s hatch. The tractor beam locked on, and began to pull his prize inside. Corvidus couldn’t believe it!
He’d found a Wolfen.
You don't belong here, little one. Go back through the tunnel and leave this world.
*She sticks her tongue out at you* I can do what I want!
Mod Note: This is Corvidus's ref
Both brother ran as fast as they could. Nardis had been struck down by a rogue gyser, so the two told him to just warn Sactuary and Evermore. "Are you certain we can do this?" Sylmajr asked, "You heard what Owen said."
"If we can seal up someone like him, then we can deal with some weather," Xiroth replied. The docks of Dawn had been destroyed, and the water spout marched on. Three of the five seasonal gems began to glow, "Pray to our ancestor."
A wind slowly picks up, growing stronger by the second. The wind flow began to hit against the water spout, slowing it down greatly until it finally disappeared. Xiroth sighs in relief.

Meanwhile, near Oliopigo, the cave in which the twins appeared from has a new visitor. Another of their kind, smaller than even the brothers, walks out and looks around. Footsteps can be heard further in as well as whispers, but it's clear only she plans to enter the pocket world. The first thing she does? She begins to approach the tent she can see in the distance.
