So, I heard you enjoy OC lore
Okay, I am not ready to post everything about them right now, however, I do have Corvill's lore ready, so lemme just...
Corvill is a pretty old vampire who used to be a cruel, ruthless killer. He was known for not sparing his preys at all, and always winning if they would give chase. That lead to Corvill being feared by non vampires, but highly admired by vampires. One day, he got bored. And lonely.“I’ve been doing this for centuries, yet, even amongst vampires, I never gained friendship.”. Since vampires were mostly admirative of Corvill, even though he kept insisting on the fact that they're equal, the other vampires always treated Corvill like some kind of god.
So, what does a bored vampire who still need to drink blood does? He went into hiding for a little over 100 years, finding the castle he currently lives in, and went into the village at night,under a fake name, trying to make friends. He fed on animals during this time. One day, Corvill met a woman. After a bit of talking, he admitted to her that he’s a vampire, and asked if he could drink a bit of her blood, the woman agreed to it. Corvill met with her every night during that time, and always made sure she was okay before taking her blood. On some nights, he even spent the next day sleeping at her place. He fell in love with that woman. One night, the woman was back from the library, and talked about how scary the legend of Corvill is, and thinking she loved him as much as he loved her, the vampire confessed that Corvill is him. The one she described is who he used to be a little over a hundred years ago. The woman was terrified, her trust was broken, she called him a monster and told him to never come near her again. Corvill was heartbroken, but understood. He never even waved at the woman after this. The next time he saw her was when he visited her grave.
Around 50 years later is when he met with Lavi, who was then just an elf princess with a passion for fashion (we will come back to the specific lore of Lavi later). Lavi had gotten lost while exploring the vast forest one rainy night, where Corvill just happened to be taking a stroll and enjoying the rain. Seeing how Lavi didn’t looked prepared to be drenched, he approached her, asking Lavi if she needs any help. When Lavi said she was lost, he offered for her to take shelter at his castle until the rain calmed down. At Corvill’s surprise, Lavi accepted! After they reached his castle, Corvill said that Lavi has to know he’s a vampire and can only help her find her way back home on the next night, to which Lavi agreed with a level of understanding that shocked the vampire. After he took Lavi back home, she thanked him, and they parted ways… Except Lavi looked for Corvill just a week later, and they met again. And again, until a good year and a half of almost daily meetings later, she asked if he would agree to marry her. Now, Lavi’s father was very much against his daughter marrying a vampire, but Vilirassillia said there was nothing wrong with it, so the king couldn’t actually do much. After asking her a thousand time if she was sure about this, Corvill agreed to a wedding. They moved in into Corvill’s castle, and to Lavi’s surprise, Corvill is actually very good at making clothes, so while Lavi design their outfits, Corvill is the one who makes them.
When the two made Elliot, Corvill didn’t want his son to suffer like he did, and Lavi came up with the idea of making a group for vampires and non vampires that would come up and make ways to make the world more inclusive for vampires. Corvill was overjoyed at that idea, and with that, the “vampiric association” was officially created. It worked for a few years until Rivergra came in, but that will be talked about later. So, Corvill and Lavi agreed to not make this vampiric association known to Eilliot until they knew for sure it was working to not get their son’t hopes up. The couple had two more children, and are very loving and supportive parents. The idea of getting a new person to take blood from every month came from the vampiric association, and has been used by Lavi to help her husband and children. When Rainea asked for her parent’s approval to become a bard, Corvill thought this was a new beginning, and accepted it with a smile with Lavi, both of them provided their daughter with everything she needed, and let her off with some protection, of course! When the vampiric association got corrupted and turned into the “vampire liberation cult”, Corvill was very disappointed, especially when he saw people that looked up to him on the cult’s side.
