When I like a book, I find it difficult to put my thoughts into writing because I just go "👍🏻 i lobe this 10/10" meanwhile, when a book is just mid I end up writing pages of notes.

I'm only at 47% of my current read, and i wrote two pages of notes: it doesn't bode well for it. (still better than the book i paused around 58% that I'm struggling to pick it back up bc I don't want to dnf it)

I'm on a trip and I'm spending most of my budget buying books that will make my TBR pile even bigger.

I bought this copy a couple of years ago, and I keep thinking that it's beautiful.

All red w/ 451 embossed on the cover, the painted edges, and the little band keeping it closed with the "fire hazard" sticker.

Sadly, I'll have to break the spine a bit to read it 😔

Yes!! It arrived, finally! It took so long!

"Apparently, Sir Cameron Needs To Die" finally arrived!

I love the painted edges, tbh I'd love to wear a shirt with this pattern.

Now, time to figure out what kind of switcheroo I have to do with my current TBR to give it a bit of priority...

Do you know that scene in the first MiB movie, where they do the test and shoot the cutouts of aliens & shit? And J shoots the cutout of a kid with quantum physics books bc is the only suspicious looking?

I was reading that kind of stuff at 10-11yo.

You think it's great, until you discover I'm a burned out gifted kid uni dropout, whose only skill is knowing all pokemon names and finding divulgative scientific books *too easy* unless they are on academic texts level.

This (early) morning there was a big rainstorm when I went to work, so I didn’t bring with me a book in fear of it getting wet if my backpack got soaked...

And now it's sunny and I have nothing to read... okay, I have Misery as ebook but tbh reading it feels a bit of a chore 😅

Hello! Online I usually go by Corvo or MB, and I'm a 30+ person from Italy who really loves to read, and decided to make it also a *you* problem.

Fun Fact: this is a sideblog and my main blog used to be to share my writing, until I was hit by the Big Bad Writer's Block (and family telling me to find a real job) and ended up dropping all my projects. Maybe one day I'll go back to them.
