If you’re from the Guardians of Ga’Hoole Discord server “The Great Tree” then you probably know my series, Dinosaurs of Ga’Hoole

For the time being, I have made thirteen of the Guardians of Ga’Hoole cast into dinosaurs!

There will be more! Stay tuned!

I gave myself a few rules

1) Tytos are all dromaeosaurus (broken by Ezylryb being a Bambiraptor but shhhhh)

2) Owls native to North America are represented by dinosaurs found in their Cretaceous equivalent and so on, and blue owls are based on owls found in Asia

3) The size of the dinosaurs have to be proportional to the owls they are based on (Twilight is still taller than Soren, taller than Digger, taller than Gylfie)

4) They all have to be theropods (I gave them feathers based on most common depictions, and they don’t have to be carnivorous)

5) All dinosaurs must be from Early to Late Cretaceous

I was lucky to be part of a creative work exchange in a Guardians of Ga'Hoole discord I'm in at the end of last year/going into this year. It was like a Secret Santa but themed more around one of the lore celebrations.

I love doing these kinds of things and went a bit "whole hog" and made two works based of the receivers prompts!

This is Coryn, one of the characters from the series mulling over The Ember

And their OC, Ernest, a striped owl, doing some wee hours studying. (I did try to give this the ratio for a pc wallpaper but uh. Got it wrong)
