It's been a minute posting stuff on my main, but one of my all time favourite RWBY/Nuts n' Dolts artist Etincelle posted their fancomic "Neon Lights" (based on the fanfiction, same name, by solarital) on their Youtube channel and I'm so happy!! It's one of my all time favourite NND fan comics that captures the pure softness and heart wrenching moments of the ship and I just love it so much! I wish they could archive the other RWBY/NND fanart + animations because their fanart looks amazing, but I also understand their wishes for wanting to put out more original content rather than be known as the 'NND fan artist' in the fandom or otherwise, so it's understandable.

Just finished watching the second episode of new panty and stocking and going to copy and paste my mini thread from Bluesky, so SPOILERS AHEAD! ⚠️

The episode was great as usual! Animation, music and comedy is stellar!

The beginning half of the ep literally plays out a lot similar to the 1st episode in season 1 but now with the demon sisters and I love that!

I can’t wait to see more interactions between P+S and S+K! It looks like they’ll be working together in stopping the angel brothers in later episodes! (My fave trope of the heroes and villains forcing to work together and put their differences aside, my beloved💕🩷!)

Thought that garter was up to something shady in the last episode from that post credits scene but I guess was wrong, unless otherwise

Also the black character designs is looking a lot better and proper than before and I’m so happy for that! PSG I wasn’t familiar with your game….

I mentioned on my bluesky post, the second half of the episode is literally one full on YGO parody and I’m here for it! (love the little GX representation with Panty doing the full on ‘GOTCHA’ pose Jaden Yuki does as an Easter egg, love that!) I’m gonna need everyone to do a redraw screenshots of today’s ep with YGO characters as your homework assignment, because LOOK AT IT!!!! 👇(due to tumblr’s photo limit I can’t post all of it so here’s a few of my faves! Also unrelated note, but Kneesocks working part time at the card shop and greeting the manager there was unexpected and cute! She’s my favourite demon sister and honestly chill af for that! Love that for her!

Since I realise the ep is one big yugioh homage/reference, I suddenly remember seeing some PASWG x YGO crossover fanart on pixiv years back and that one YGO x PASWG parody OP on YouTube. I’m gonna need everyone in both fandoms to bring this back with screenshot redraws, now that season 2 dropped! (THAT IS YOUR HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT, NO EXCUSES!)

Been watching the US election madness all over my timeline and on other social media, and as a non American, all I have to say I’m so sorry to all my American moots/followers.

The next few days/weeks/possibly months are gonna be rough, so if you ever need to vent or just want to hang out as a get together to stream YouTube or whatever and chat with me in private, please don’t hesitate.

Right now everything sucks and times are getting super scary. Everything is looking uncertain for sure. Hell, I know I’m freaking out and I’m not even from the US.

I don’t know why, but I just have this sudden urge to look for songs that are so heavily Dartz-coded that fits his personality and vibes. I’ll probably make use of these songs be put into a Spotify or YouTube playlist in the future, hell, probably even use some of the songs for a future animatic / animation for all I know, it’s just one of these sudden spark of inspiration moments that I just needed to get it out there! (I’ll also might make a seperate post going further in depth for the song choices sometime in the future. Additionally, I’ll start adding more songs periodically)
