mismagius and banette

Both Ghost-types will feed off of negative emotions and spiritual energy, meaning that trainers are at risk around both of these Pokemon. Like most Ghost-type Pokemon, I would only recommend these for experienced trainers.

As far as caretaking goes, Mismagius requires a slightly firmer hand and appropriate boundaries when training. Like most ghosts, a darkened room with multiple places to hide is best. Mismagius are generally less mischievous than their pre-evolved forms, but some remain pranksters. Be sure to reward correct behavior and remain firm when dealing with misbehavior. As a partner on a journey, Mismagius make good battlers, and most are well suited for it.

Banette are more solitary than Mismagius, but also have less of a habit of randomly cursing postal workers and delivery drivers. They do respond well to long-term ownership and care, and can prove quite affectionate when trained from very young. Unlike other Ghost Pokemon, they can’t disappear at will, which both makes them easier to control and means that they need more specific places to rest, such as beds. They also like small enclosed spaces to rest in.
