5 reasons why it's okay to not be friends with your ex. 1. Letting him go completely is the only way you can truly move on. There are some people who are only meant to be part of your life for a certain period of time. Sometimes the only thing left to do when a relationship has run its course is to let go and move on separately. It doesn't mean you've never loved or cared for your ex- you're simple getting on with your life. Holding on to false hope won't do you any good. As the saying goes, DON'T CRY BECAUSE IT'S OVER; SMILE BECAUSE IT HAPPENED. 2. He's not healthy for you. Just because you love someone doesn't mean he's good for you. Toxic people have a way of sucking the life out of you. There's a reason why your relationship didn't work. You can't force a friendship especially if you're only doing it to keep him in your life one way or another. You have to cut ties with the source of your unhappiness and paid if you want to get better. 3. He brings out the worst in you. What is the point of keeping someone in your life if he brings out all your worst qualities? If he made you feel unworthy and insecure while you were together, he's most likely going to continue making you feel that way. Imagine him guilt tripping you for the failure of your relationship. You're only going to end up resenting and blaming yourself for everything. 4. He'a not worth keeping as a friend. When you're in love with someone, you tend to see past all their bad qualities and only focus on the good. But once you step back and try to see the bigger picture from a distance, you start to see things from a different perspective. Maybe he's not the good guy you thought he was. If he talks shit about you after your break up, that says a lot about the kind of person he really is. 5. He has too much baggage. He has his own issues to deal with that have nothing to do with you, but you're still affected by them because he takes out his frustrations on you. It's not your responsibility to carry the weight of hid problems. Naturally you'll want to be there for him and help him out but there is only so much you can do. Don't let him drag you down with him. Only he can fix himself. LESSON: I've realize and learned that after all the things happen to both of you. You should left it behind don't bring it to your present of future because it will cause you a delay to be happy and to see more good things in life.
