I never had issues with being morena. As a child who loved swimming, I wasn't afraid of the sun. I actually don't remember my parents getting scared of us getting darker when we had beach trips (as long as we didn't forget to put sunblock). I've seen THAT ad weeks ago and it bothered me already. I saw it again yesterday along C-5 and finally reacted. Haha! So what if morena ka? Also, if you were born mestiza/fair-skinned, it's not your fault either. Love your own! No more discrimination on beauty. Your color is not a flaw, it's what makes you unique!
