SD Homestuck Gathering, 2012: The Cross-Fandom Chaos

This picture is from the very first San Diego Homestuck gathering in 2012, and the energy was absolutely insane! It was remarkable to be part of something so vibrant, full of people running around in incredible cosplays.

I was rocking my Denmark from Hetalia cosplay, but not once did anyone make me feel out of place. In fact, we did a hilarious, spontaneous photoshoot where the Homestuck cosplayers completely surrounded me—it was so much fun and truly special.

I spent most of the day just hanging out with my friends, making the event even better. (Shout-out to the one who kept tasting weird jelly throughout the event, even when it tasted terrible—all I could do was shake my head at them!)

I’m so glad I participated and captured all these unforgettable memories.

I’ve been working on a lot of cosplay stuff lately, so I thought I’d make a little lineup of all of my costumes! This only includes “big” costumes that I planned  (so no spur of the moment closet cosplay) and wore out at least once.
