Putting a bit more martial arts wisdom up in here, something I tell me stupids often. Often times we find excuses for yourselves, the biggest offender being "oh I don't have time."⠀ .⠀ All it takes is 5 minutes, 5 extra minutes out of your normal routine; heck, put it into your routine. Run through drills in your head while you're brushing your teeth. See how far of a stretch you can go into during a commercial break. YES - Youtube ads, let them run versus skipping them and use that time intentionally. But practicing light floppy kicks will result in those being your types of kicks too.⠀ .⠀ Not in martial arts? Alright - run through your next cosplay skit, practice 10 minutes every night before you go to bed a technique you want to work on for your next cosplay. My point is, practice will never make perfect, BUT practice will make you better at ____Fill in the blank. This is one subject that upsets me a bit. This is my opinion and my opinion only. Cosplay does not need to be sexualized, it can cause more problems than need to the cosplayer or community of cosplay. Dont let someone tell you to change the way you cosplay to show more skin than you are comfortable with. Cosplay is meant as a fun hobby.
