*This is my OFFICIAL response to San Japan*

If you do not know what this is, watch this first:

This was a poor apology IF you could call it that. I say that because I think an apology must be sinscere to count for anything and this is merely damage control when they saw the ammount of people standing up for me. They did NOTHING until their Facebook page was flooded, months after this issue should have been resolved.

I will tell you why this was a poor effort: 1) After their initial apology they immediately say that the reason for it is because they "dropped the ball at multiple times" - At no point will I consider using 3rd party software to illegally rip my video off of YouTube "dropping the ball". It was deliberate theft and wrong. 2) They acknowledge and admit fault in failing to communicate with me AND showing my work as advertisement at an event where they are there to ONLY gain monetary value and traffic to their event. 3) They lie about the dates that they stopped using it my work at events where they are advertising. They say Feb 22, 2014 they stopped but I have eye witness account that it was shown at Mizuumi-Con during March 2014. 4) And they do not RESOLVE anything, only cover up problems. Instead of simply crediting me or crediting me and then removing my video they have SHUT DOWN their entire "Cosplay Music Video rebroadcast system" ... They are shutting down oportunities for ALL of these content creators that they claim are "put at the top of their press lists". Effectively squashing the view count that anyone without an established fan base. 5) They did not even send this to me. They posted it on Tumblr and then forwarded that to Facebook and just ASSUMED I would see it until 3:30a when I was contacted directly. Hours after people had begun to argue all of these points in the FB comments.

and lastly, 6) In their apology they mis-named me and totally told the name of my page wrong. Not only does this cause confusion and make me wonder what they were thinking. It is INSULTING and shows that they really do not care about me or the artist community they just were trying to post something up to save face. That is all and they did poorly.

All that said, I would like to clarify: I am not directly against anyone attending the convention San Japan and am not leading anyone to post negative or false things onto their social media.
