Tomorrow I'm going to a baseball game where i've been asked to come in cosplay to promote an event. I decided to wear my old Rinoa cosplay with the angel wings I built in college.... I pulled the wings out of the box and all the hours and tears from came flooding back. This project consumed my life for 2 years and it was never as successful as i wanted it to be. I hope tomorrow goes well

Cosplay woes

Ever have a favorite character, but you felt fail in comparison to others who cosplay the same character?? I know it’s about your love of the character but we are human we have faults and worrying is one of them…. ….. but instead of letting that feeling pull you down, you channel it and figure when you do debut a new cosplay of that favorite character (since it’s been awhile since you cosplayed them) you want it to be as perfect as you can make it and do justice to said character… or is that just me??

Cosplay sewing has got be one of the most frustrating things on the planet.

Trying to decide if I can pull of a Fluttershy cosplay.

Pros: It would be cute (hopefully)

Cons: Money for the accessories (including wig, ears and wings)

Finding/Making a dress that I can pull off. I also am very pale so yellow is usually a no-go color

Lots of Time and effort and not a lot of sewing skills
