There she was, the girl that people around here described as plain, but the princess didn’t agree to that at all. A girl that also was an Ultimate Student like she was in the past, couldn’t be plain at all. Truly she must have been very special surely. Luckily she wasn’t too shy to approach the blue haired young woman as soon as she luckily met her. 

“Please wait! I think you do look familiar to the descriptions of the other kind villagers, that told me about other Ultimate Students living here as well. Please allow me to explain: Rumors here do say, that there is a girl walking around with glasses and long blue hair, and that she is the Ultimate Cosplayer as well, is that true?! How nice to meet another Student of... wait, did you study at hope’s peak as well? And the Ultimate Cosplayer of all things too! I already heard a lot about cosplays in my past researches about japanese culture, but unfortunately I never really got to see a cosplayer close up. In addition to that, you are what they call a ‘pro’ too, right? AAHHH I’m totes intrigued! Please, allow me to see some of your surely marvelous costumes! Did you perhaps cosplay some J-Dramas characters already too?”

“I haven’t seen ya since that shitshow of a festival. So, tell me. What kinda freaky stuff do you get into in those cosplays?”

“WHOA! You’re outfit is gorgeous miss, where did you get it?“ She asked, her voice laced with awe. Isabelle simply had to know the store she got it from so she could do a bit of shopping of her own. Hopefully they had her size too...

   It’s terrible that this had to happen--he’d never wish something like this upon any group of people, but now that it is happening, he sees it as his chance to be useful. Ever since reviving he’s hoped to make it up to himself and to his classmates and prove he can save someone from trouble.

That opportunity presents itself in Tsumugi, who he finds standing a distance away from a shambler he doesn’t recognize. That’s... a good thing, he thinks. The thought of hurting them is even harder when their faces are familiar.

He doesn’t do anything like that yet, though, instead approaching to stand in front of the cosplayer. She looks a little shaken up, he notices, and he can (incorrectly) assume why.

“D-don’t worry, Shirogane-san! Gonta will shield you!”

    Maki held no concern about fighting the zombies. She was able to coldly kill them in a quick manner when she was able to find weapons nearby. Even without such, she was an assassin. She knew how to utilize her surroundings. What she didn’t expect was to run into one with resemblance of someone from her past-- Her friend at the orphanage.

    “What..?” It was strange. Why was she here? Maki had taken her place, so.. What happened? Had all her efforts been futile? No. She had to snap out of that. There was no way it was the real girl. She knew this (with its monstrous aura), but that didn’t make the extermination any easier. She couldn’t just leave it there, even with that innocent look in its eyes.

    “I’m sorry,” was a quiet utterance, primarily to herself as the figure collapsed. Regardless, it made memories of her time at the orphanage re-surface. If the orphanage was in shambles, what would that mean for her?
