There are no words to describe how utterly in love I am with this piece! 😍😍😍 I’ve always thought Dave looked Slavic, and my friend Yana (who is Ukrainian) confirmed my assessment. 😉😆 I then told her about my love for Cossacks, and I started imagining Dave as a Cossack. Then, Yana told me James also looked Slavic, so we definitely had a vision in the making. ❤️❤️ Cossack society was a warrior society where men formed close bonds with each other, so why not give James the hetman a beloved and cranky “wife”? 😜 He’s very demanding and James is ALWAYS trying to please him. Dave might be annoyed with James, but we know James is eventually going to get a taste of those pouty lips. 💋 Hihihi! I’m so in love with this whole concept that I might very well write a story at some point. ❤️ I also adore that Yana gave James a traditional Cossack haircut. 😉 A massive thank you to Yana for making my dreams come true, once again, with this absolutely masterpiece. As always, the coloring work and details astound me. And of course, I adore the sunflower, Ukrainians’ most beloved flower. 🥹🌻
