Speaking of long hair, I was wondering how long we’ll be able to have our MCs? I like playing MCs who have very long, healthy hair that they’re proud of. The reason why is usually a headcanon that it’s one of the few things that my MCs have control over in their lives and therefore take great pride and care for it.

Headcanon no more, anon. Arthur doesn't have a hair fixation for nothing.

I am quite fond of the hair costumization in games, particularly the length. I very much like to mention it, so much so that in my other if (The Chosen One) every length was followed by a specific paragraph on it. In that case it was based on the MC's general attitude, so if you chose very long hair the explanation was that you started growing it after your parents' last visit to remind you of how much time you spent alone. On the other hand of you wanted to keep your hair shaved it was because during the same meeting your mother mentioned how beautiful your long hair was. You cut it as soon as you got to your room and you kept it shaved since.

All of this (forgive the digression) to say that since one of the MC's key struggles in TKH is control - or the lack of thereof - a MC with long hair canonically keeps it like that to have at least control over something of theirs.

As for the available options, you could go for hip length hair or knee length hair!

What would you say are all the appearance customisations as of now? (Eg skin tone range, eye colours, hair colours, tattoos? Piercings Markings? Etc)

Thanks for the ask, anon, I'll list them below but keep in mind that they might very well change before the demo is released!

Skin tone: from pale olive to ebony and everything in between (I'll have to do some deep research on this because since in Italy the majority of the population is light skinned there really aren't proper terms to describe darker skin tones).

Height: from 1.50m to 1.75m (4'11" - 5'9")

Hair colors: pretty much the classical ones with the option to dye your hair (interestingly enough, I found out that even in the ancient Rome women used to lighten their hair, as blonde hair was very popular).

Eye colors: everything from black (or dark brown) to ivory, including pink, purple, red, orange and golden.

You'll have the option to have tatoos (I haven't decided yet if they are something cultural-related, in case I'll have to do some research beforehead), piercings and scars.

As a side note, In comparison to my other IF (The Chosen One) here the choices seems few and too normal. Maybe it got out of hand, but having finished the costumization section I can say that there are 16 eye colors, 14 hair colors (very few of them are normal ones) and like 32 for the skin color... you'll see only four of them but it depends a lot on your previous choices.

In conclusion, I am a masochist who doesn't even know how to code... it'll be fun.
