Uhhhh I am 100% not qualified to give advice on drawing hands, hands are hard and honestly I really need to work on them, but I’ll do my best to at least help :00

Here’s just kinda a general thing of what I do when I sketch out hands. It helps (at least me) to make a box before sketching the hand, it kinda reminds me of the thickness of the actual palm area beforehand. It also helps me recognize where to put the fingers later on

I tend to exaggerate some of features on the hand, specifically the muscles connecting the thumb to the palm and the muscle just below the pinkie. I do kinda recommend going off of an actual hand when learning though, it helps you get the basic idea of parts of a hand. Then you can go wild! Get rid of a finger, make the palm or fingers blocky, whatever you want!

For posing, I HIGHLY recommend looking up a reference, or better yet, looking at your own hand. Even as someone who is a complete idiot and rarely uses references, I seriously recommend using your own hand. You could even take a photo of it and use that as reference for whatever you need! But that way, you can hopefully get the proportions you want!

Nah but for real, I’m not tagging this as su or whatever, I’m just using this as an update thing. I may be dead for a while since school started back up and I wanna take time to focus on getting on a routine. In the meantime, I may reblog more stuff than normal since I got nothing to provide lol.

I SWEAR there was a DH post with Spinel in it and an amazingly made tune but it's like it's dissappeared?

There was, but I decided I didn’t do the song justice (plus I made more music), so I got rid of it with the intent that I can come back and make a full fledged drawing, or if I’m in the mood, a comic of the new garden :0

That scene has a special place in my heart so don’t worry, none of that will be gone for long lol
