Naco Taco is one of the newer taco spots in town and it gained notoriety for the fabulous patio, the food and being a restaurant with its kitchen in a food truck. Although it will be warm enough to enjoy the patio throughout most of December (apparently we can thank/blame El Niño for that), Naco Taco is more than just a summer taco party.

The space inside Naco Taco is actually pretty cool itself with a huge wrap-around bar and plenty of indoor space to crunch loudly on taco chips and slurp some strawberry, jalapeño, lemon sangria.

Several weeks ago, I was invited to stop in and check out Naco Taco with a friend.  We dove right into the menu and enjoyed an assortment of tacos as well as a few additional plates of vittles.

Okay, the cauliflower was so good. It is slathered in a chipotle aoili and topped with cotija cheese. Cauliflower is so simple but always tastier when prepared by someone else.

Local artists have contributed work to the space.

The bar is a large wrap-around bar. The perfect place to gather to watch hockey…or okay football.

The dining area is split into three or four main sections so there is really plenty of space for groups of all shapes, sizes and ages.
