-- CotL OC Doodle Dump --
+ some themes revolving around the new crown bearers
Me and the bad bitch I pulled by becoming damned by the gods
--
Wanted to do at least one more thing for Pride + I wanted to draw the Lamb's first follower + spouse Bessa because god I love her
Updated Disciple Sheet!
(Or at least until I have the mental bandwidth to draw them again)
Updated with their individual follower traits! Not shown - Fear no longer has the Coward trait
Thank you to @hysterical-random-things for their follower trait reference sheet
Get loved, idiot.
I'm not sure if this has been asked but I am curious.
What would your COTL OCs do in a modern setting? Would they still be in a cult, or would they be vastly different?
If you feel up for it, I would love to hear about your Lamb and the Bishops as well in such a setting. You are an inspiring soul, and I love your lore drops.
This hasn't been asked before! Also thank you sm that means a lot ;A;
Color coded for easier reading
-- Disciples --
Bessa would like to work in a position to help people, so she'd probably fall into something like a social worker or a school teacher
Fear would likely go into something involving agriculture; he loves to garden and grow his own food, so I can see him as a farmer.
Hastur would either be a scientist/researcher; something that lets him expand his knowledge beyond what he already knows
Panamo would have been somewhere in entertainment, maybe in theatre? Despite the fact that they rarely speak, they have a beautiful voice and can dance
-- Bishops --
Lambert would want to live as a farmer and/or keep livestock; the shepherd doesn't want to go too far from their flock
Narinder for some reason I can see as a museum curator or an archeologist? Something involving delving into the history that was denied to him after being trapped for so long.
Leshy would go into agriculture or botany; something involving nature
Heket I can see also going into agriculture because she likes the hard work keeping the crops alive; she could have been a singer but thanks Nari.
Kallamar would be a doctor or a pharmacist; either that or a marine biologist because you cannot keep this man out of the water for long or he'll go stir crazy
Shamura would like to lead a quiet life as a librarian or an archivist, or they'd lead the MEANEST mob and there's no in between
I don't think they'd still be in a Cult, honestly. Maybe more-so like an organized crime ring, if that makes sense.

-- Fear & Kallamar --
Kallamar is mostly deaf in one ear and completely in the other; loud, sharp noises are agonizing
He's still terrified of the Lamb, although he adamantly denies it (when they're not around that is)
Becomes the cult's resident doctor, though he himself takes a while to recover from an illness; the loss of his divinity basically destroyed his immune system
Fear becomes his keeper; both bond over their shared "Terrified of Death" trait
While Fear doesn't trust Kallamar that much, he could tell that he didn't have it in him to retaliate against the Lamb, so he wasn't too terribly worried about Kallamar being a problem.
If anything, Kallamar's useful for wrangling his siblings.
-- Bessa & Heket --
Without the use of her crown, Heket can only speak in short croaks. She can barely speak any louder than a low tone without straining herself.
Bessa made her a scarf so they wouldn't have to keep making bandages
She visited Heket often in the Med Bay when Heket was first indoctrinated
Heket nearly bled out on the summoning circle and had to spend a few weeks in the Med Bay to recover from her injuries
Heket is another that doesn't necessarily need to be watched 24/7; she'd calmed down faster than Leshy had, although she still wants to bite Lambert's head off
Not used to having a full stomach - she still has a massive appetite though
Also some rough designs of Kallamar and Heket while I figure out how to draw them
So.... how would each disciple deal with a spy or dissenter?
Bessa has the Jailbreaker trait in one of my old saves, so she prefers to re-educate low risk dissenters through kind words and understanding. She's had the most success rate out of all the disciples.
Fear will deliver a sermon and preach until he thinks they've changed their ways. It's worked, but he's usually not who the Lamb sends to deal with dissenters if they can help it. Fear usually just annoys the shit out of them.
Hastur will also preach your ear off, but he prefers to use "gentle persuasion" to get a dissenter to change their ways. He's usually who deals with the higher risk dissenters for a good reason.
And Panamo just-- Oh?
Where'd they go?
