how could I not see the danger right in front of me?
The fanfic I'm writing it's basically about how some things are meant to be repeated over and over and this- this is a good example on how. Having someone continuously plotting your demise it's kinda flattering, get yourself someone that committed (?)
Ratau's case be like - Gone horribly wrong -
Lamb's case is now like - Holy shit gone horribly right and I don't fucking know how did you manage that but I guess you toxic people belong together - (???)
Doodling stuff about the first chapter of my fic, I honestly doubt Narinder may be willing to recall anything about Ratau's time as a vessel. Let the gay rat man spill the beans himself.
Here's some of my headcanons regarding the Fox. He's just an interesting character and I can't help but think about his obsession with eating Ratau. My theory: They're exes (?)
I personally doubt he's a deity or in the same level as Kuudai or Clauneck and Chemach so my personal interpretation is that the Fox is the embodiment of the night. Not exactly a god but rather the very concept of the fear of the night, wearing a physical vessel in order to hunt down and have his fill. The night is ravenous and there's predators lurking, so that's exactly what he represents; fear, hunger, and predation. Not a trusty fella but when you've been around for ages your knowledge may come off as handy; that is if you're ready to take up on his deals.
As to how he ended up trying to devour Ratau, well that might have something to do with the fact he seems to be sealed away in the crescent moon shaped marks, keeping him in the darkness where he belongs. Did Ratau seal him somehow?
Anyway that's just my recollections speaking, just headcanons I write for fun lmao.
