Bit of light angst for the soul. Tried experimenting with colors and a neat brush I found on ibis. It's funny really, I've been drawing digitally for nearly most of my life and I still have no idea how to properly color things in-

But I like this, might stick with it, not too sure tho. This style takes way too much commitment and concentration that I simply Do Not have XD

The rule of having a bath before you can get indoctrinated is very funny to me but also makes a lot of sense. How do the new followers usually react to the "no stinky" requirement?

They're usually confused that it's a requirement. Other times there will be one that gets mad at the rule but they usually suck it up and deal with it. Besides it's not like they have much of a choice either way hue

In any case you know what they say, cleanliness is next to godliness, and they'll be damned if they're just gonna let people walk around their cult with unwashed asses XDD

Of course Venado themselves also bathes like everyone else. They absolutely hate feeling dirt and oil in their fur and on their skin underneath. At least once a day they'll visit the bathhouse to take a shower. They'd also take a shower after crusades so they can unwind and take it easy for the rest of the day/night.

I made them a bishop form :D

Super proud of this too, we spent the last 3 ish days working on this uvu. Even lined it properly n everything. Just no shading tho-

Soo i want to know more abou Venado, what does they like? How does they manage their cult??

This one's gonna be a bit of a text heavy answer hope you don't mind-

Anyway yeah Venado doesn't really have any hobbies besides sewing, they mostly spend their time sleeping when not out on crusades or tending to the followers. They do enjoy cooking from time to time, if they're the only one in the kitchen- they've got a bit of a system when it comes to cooking and is very specific about how people help them. Circling back to the sewing thing, they love designing and making clothes for any special followers they have. Usually custom outfits for their spouses or any follower they're just generally fond of. It also helps them keep track of who's who.

As for how they run the cult, it's surprisingly easy-going in their cult. They have their semi-daily sermons and confessions, helping followers with daily tasks like watering crops to help things go just a bit faster. Go out on crusades for extra resources, send followers on missionaries for meat.

Tho they are very strict about one thing and that's the cleanliness of the followers. They built a whole ass public bathhouse for the entire cult to bathe in. It's got private showers for anyone who wants more privacy and stuff like that. They even provide the followers with different types of soaps/shampoos that they get imported from pilgrim's passage. They always make sure the bathhouse is always clean from mold as well, they're surprisingly diligent when it comes to it. They also made it a requirement to take a thorough shower/bath before you can be a full fledged member of their cult.

I think that's all I can really think of right now 🤔

Anyway yeah thank you for the ask uvu had a lotta fun writing this out. Gave me a chance to ramble a little about my little bastard 👉👈
