Harbour City Fur Con 2018 is fast approaching and I have just landed back in my homeland of Australia and I am fucking pumped! Here’s a little process and backstory to the poster I created for this year’s Neo-Tokyo themed con. David Cao (founder of HCFC), had asked me to create a poster for the event that worked both as a promotional piece and as a page in the con-book. The brief was to illustrate a group of anthropomorphic characters, including a specific list of OCs including: Character 1: Kovlancer (goat) Characters 2 & 3: Yuumei (dragon) and Telford (fox), a couple. Character 4: Darky (muscular blue dinosaur). Characters 5 & 6: Kovu (lion) and Seth (wolf), a couple. Characters 7 & 8: Mindfyer (grey wolf) and Packer (tiger), a couple. Character 9: Temba (cougar). And of course I completely took advantage of the situation and incorporated my Creatures of the Night. Speaking of the con, are any of you attending this year?
