I spent probably way too long on this piece. There's a lovely pinup from the 50s (or thereabouts) going around with a woman reading a book and enjoying a snack with her legs up, and I had no choice. I HAD to draw Kardyn--the love interest and a rather sexy fox spirit--in that pose.
I adore this idiot (╥ ᴗ ╥) He's a bit grumpy, but honestly, he just needs some TLC and positive attention.
Currently, I'm working on character sheets so I can post character interviews and introductions! I can't wait to start sharing them :3 Look for Logan's character sheet next week!
Fun Fact: The spirits in Where the Heartwood Sleeps are, in general, mixtures of various animals, plants, and inanimate objects. Kardyn is primarily a fox spirit, but he also has porcupine quills. There's a really fun reason for this (explained in book two), and I can't wait for you all to find out what it is!
