When I was interviewed #hiddenheroes :)
Back to the grind.......gotta get off the couch!
On the way down.....but not quick enough.
I recently started my journey back to being fit last week. I was reaching upwards of 230-235lbs and I was feeling not like myself. My cardio has gone down completely and I could see the major differences in my demeanor and attitude.
So far I have been able to drop below 230 and I have been upping my activity by walking more, working out harder in the gym and watching what I eat. I have never been one to count carbs or do the macro thing. Although I hear I should probably be taking in more carbs than I normally do. The problem for me is that I often take in too little. I under eat rather than over eat.
The Central Valley Throwdown is coming up in about two weeks and pretty much have that much time to drop what I can and maintain a more healthy lifestyle not only for the competition coming up but in general. I was about 205 back in April and there is no reason why I cannot reach that soon again.
My goal for the next two weeks is to get to a healthy 210. I will be initiating a new morning routine that I have seen via the internet from some really successful athletes and entrepreneurs. I feel it will put me in a much better place to get things right.
It doesn't matter if you are starting from rock bottom or not. Just put your mind into any action and get it done! #motivation #determination #couch2competitor #beyourownhero
