Hey Baku!! I'm considering beefing up my redbubble or selling art elsewhere and wanted to ask, how is it working for you? Do you like it, and do you have experience with other art selling sites?
ah I might not be the best person to ask about that... I don't like redbubble and I don't enjoy the thing they just did with their margin and payout, but also that's just kinda how platforms are? if it's not this then it's something else. any of the print stuff I offer is fully on request now anyway (except for when I really like a piece and think it'd make a great print lol) - I don't really treat redbubble stuff like how merch artists do it, there's very little calculation involved in upkeeping the store, and it's absolutely not where any significant amount of my income comes from. at most I get enough to reach the payout margin every two months, otherwise it's definitely not uncommon for it to lie around at no movement for months on end. I'm not even involved enough to figure out how to tag my stuff on there without getting it lasered off the face of the earth by IP holders lmao. quality-wise their stuff's about fine, nothing exceptional to 'em, it's a good spot if you want to offer a variety of products at about the same level of effort and aren't too fussed about the margin. and that's as far as my use of the site extends
What you’re doing with MOPD is super neat!! If you don’t mind, do you have previous experience with webcomics or is this your first project?
Thanks! I tried to make webcomics a few times before, but the plot got too complicated in my head, or it just wasn’t fun to write.
I actually posted a beta version of MOPD years ago, but the kid Greer was guardian-ing was scared of everything, including Greer. It got kind of old! I figured the story would be way more interesting if Greer was actually from hell, trying to do a reform program thing as a guardian Angel, but the kid he had to watch over was full of wrath and obsessed with the occult. I think I was right!
My past attempts at webcomics make me cringe a little, but I think jumping right into an idea was the right decision. I unfortunately have 50+ hour work weeks, but I assure you I’m still passionate about jumping in and writing this story when I can

Wistans are one of the human nations in my original setting!!! In myth they rejected the gods, but in reality their people settled on land that blocks magic from occurring/being used. If you're born there, you can't be born with magic and can't learn it!! And if you have magic and try to go to Wista, you'll be turned away! It's illegal, in fact OOPS!!!!
Because they couldn't rely on magic to develop, they're highly industrialized instead, mirroring our world in terms of steam powered machinery, allopathic medicine, and weaponry (they invented gun warfare, for example, to counter magic-wielding societies, bc bow & arrow doesn't quite hit the same as someone that can use a gust of window to block said arrow).
They're also GIANTS 😊 The average Wistan is 7 ft or taller; being around 6'5" is considered "short" for them. Even their livestock and animals are big! They tend to be redheaded, brunettes, or dark-haired, but never blond.
Faolàn is second-generation Wistan, so he only has a bit of their height and hair color. He does speak Wistan, though, and is pretty direct/sincere as a person like them! But being born elsewhere and having magical roots in his ancestry, he's a bit removed from it all.
But yeah, that's the quick and dirty about Wista, baybee!!!
And here we have some FE Customs of one of @couchtaro's WONDERFUL D&D PCs: Kuwa, the Gloomstalker Ranger! Did versions with the Straw Hat and without! And a version with a Hair Gradient to see if they were interested! Hope you like it!
Ridiculous wizard humor is delicious and criminally underrated. You are the only one I can consistently turn to for content and you have my deepest gratitude for this
