Thinking of the "Volt kills the home owner" fics where something goes wrong during the confrontation at the breaker box and he forgets he is literally electric

And thinking about Nightmare never letting him have a night of peaceful sleep again, making him watch the events over and over as himself, as Eddie, as their Live Wire, watching himself kill them, watching him kill himself, feeling it and waking only to relive it over and over

after bobby’s funeral, buck and eddie fall into a frantic messy hookup, trying to forget their grief by pressing as close to each other as possible. buck is letting eddie’s hands guide him against eddie’s hip, burying his moans into eddie’s mouth, and when they finally manage to get rid of the last of their clothes, buck pushes his face into eddie’s neck. eddie is talking to him, low and soft and steady. “yeah, there you go, make yourself feel good.” a kiss to buck’s ear. “i wanna make you feel good, i wanna make you happy.” a hand tightening in buck’s hair. “fuck, i love you so much.”

and just as buck tips over the edge, he thinks “oh, right. he doesn’t want me, he just loves me.”
